About The Role
Legal Secretary - Conveyancing is required for a full-time, office-based position in Surrey, paying circa £30,000 depending on experience. You will join a close-knit Residential Conveyancing department, providing comprehensive administrative support to one Fee Earner.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and managing conveyancing documentation
- Handling correspondence
- Undertaking general file administration
- Liaising with clients and other parties
Applicants should possess at least twelve months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Fee Earner across a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
- Assisting with the preparation and management of conveyancing documentation, correspondence, and general file administration.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, and other relevant parties throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring a professional and high standard of client care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and ensuring deadlines and key dates are diarised and monitored effectively.
- Using the LEAP case management system to manage files and assist with the efficient progression of matters.
- Experience using digital dictation and legal case management systems would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements
Applications are welcomed from experienced Legal Secretaries with previous Residential Conveyancing experience who are organised, proactive, and confident working in a busy legal environment.
