About The Role
The Legal Secretary - Family position in Brighton offers a permanent, full-time role within a well-established Family Law team. You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, handling a varied caseload that includes managing new enquiries, coordinating diaries, and processing billing. Duties also involve preparing court documentation, filing via the HMCTS portal, and assembling court bundles and exhibits.

Job Description
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within a busy Family team.
- Assist with a varied range of Family Law matters, including managing new enquiries, diary management, billing, and accounts administration.
- Prepare court documentation, file documents via the HMCTS Family Court portal, and assist with the preparation of court bundles, briefs, and exhibits.
- Support fee earners with general case management and ensure files and administrative processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Requirements
Applications are welcomed from Legal Secretaries or Legal Assistants with a minimum of 1 year's experience and a strong understanding of legal administration.
- The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize competing workloads effectively.
