About the Role

We're looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Family Law team at Co-op Legal Services. Whether you're already working in a secretarial role or looking to develop your administrative career in a legal environment, this is an opportunity to build your skills in an ethical business with exciting plans for the future. While legal experience is welcome, it isn't essential. If you bring strong organisation, administration, and secretarial skills, we'll support you to succeed in this role.

Why this role matters

As a Legal Secretary, you'll provide vital administrative support to our Family Law team, helping deliver a great client experience. From booking appointments and managing billing to preparing bundles and briefs, you'll help keep cases running smoothly. You'll work exclusively on privately funded family law matters, supporting colleagues to provide expert guidance to clients during important moments in their lives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
