The Role

This is a 12-month maternity cover position working part-time. You will assist with a varied range of family law matters, including:

  • Managing new enquiries
  • Diary management
  • Billing and accounts administration
  • Preparing court documentation
  • Filing documents with the HMCTS Family Court portal
  • Assisting with court bundles and exhibits
  • Supporting fee earners with general case management

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from experienced Legal Secretaries or Legal Assistants with a strong understanding of legal administration and an ability to support busy fee earners effectively. You will have:

Experience within a Family department would be advantageous, particularly familiarity with:

  • Court documentation
  • HMCTS procedures
  • Billing
  • Preparing briefs and court bundles
