Property Legal Secretary

Harrogate

Salary up to £28k

I am looking for an experienced and organised Legal Secretary to join a highly successful property team in Harrogate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, professional environment and wants to play an important role in supporting a team of successful property solicitors.

As a Legal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the property team, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of matters from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Producing, formatting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Audio and copy typing
  • Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
  • Fielding telephone calls and responding to emails
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to solicitors
  • Requesting property searches and assisting with the progression of matters
  • Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents and other relevant parties
  • Opening, maintaining and updating files and records
  • Preparing and sending correspondence and documentation
  • General office and administrative duties as required

I am looking to hear from legal secretaries who are organised, proactive and detail-focused, with excellent communication and administrative skills.

You will have experience working as a legal secretary, preferably within a property/conveyancing environment. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates with strong secretarial or administrative experience who are looking to develop their career within the legal sector.
