Join a leading international law firm where Legal Secretaries play a vital role in keeping our teams running smoothly and delivering an exceptional client experience.
We’re continuing to grow across a number of our practice areas and offices, and we’re looking to connect with talented Legal Secretaries through our dedicated hiring programme.

About the role
As a Legal Secretary, you’ll act as a trusted partner to your lawyers - helping to manage workflows, anticipate needs, and ensure that everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
You’ll work both independently and as part of a wider team, supporting colleagues across different practice areas and building strong working relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting lawyers and managing workflows
- Acting as a key point of contact - keeping work moving and ensuring deadlines are met
- Managing inboxes, prioritising communications, and drafting responses where appropriate
- Preparing and producing high-quality documents, correspondence, and reports
- Supporting with document production, including digital dictation and formatting
Organisation and coordination
- Organising case files, maintaining accurate records, and managing document systems
- Coordinating meetings, diaries, and travel arrangements
- Preparing and maintaining document bundles and case-related materials

Client and stakeholder engagement
- Building strong relationships with lawyers, clients, and internal teams
- Supporting client-related activity, including reports, events, and communications
- Ensuring client protocols and service standards are consistently met
Financial and matter support
- Assisting with billing processes, expense submissions, and financial administration
- Supporting WIP management, disbursements, and finance queries
- Helping to maintain accurate records and reporting where required
Team and business support
- Collaborating with colleagues and providing support across teams when needed
- Contributing to a high-performing, responsive team environment
- Handling confidential information with care and working within compliance frameworks
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience in a legal or professional services environment
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Take pride in producing high-quality, accurate work
- Are confident managing multiple priorities and supporting busy stakeholders
- Have strong skills in Microsoft Office and document/case management systems
- Are organised, detail-oriented, and naturally proactive
