Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established law firm in Lisburn to recruit a Legal Secretary / Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team within an established legal practice.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Working closely with Solicitors and the wider team, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support across the firm. The role would suit someone with previous experience within a law firm, or an experienced Secretary/Administrator with strong organisational and administrative skills who is looking to develop their career within the legal sector.
Both part-time and full-time hours will be considered, offering flexibility for the successful candidate.
COMPANY
Our client is a well-established local law firm with an established client base and a professional working environment. The successful candidate will join a supportive team and play an important role in providing effective administrative and secretarial support to the Solicitors and wider office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to Solicitors
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing client files and maintaining accurate records
- Dealing professionally with clients and third parties
- Preparing correspondence and documentation
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
- Opening, maintaining and closing files
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- General administrative support across the office
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience within a law firm would be advantageous
- Strong secretarial or administrative experience will also be considered
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Professional and confident when dealing with clients and third parties
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
