Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor
Location: Birmingham / Bromsgrove / Remote
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a role with a genuinely manageable caseload and proper support?

We’re recruiting for a modern, growing residential conveyancing firm offering experienced conveyancers the opportunity to focus on quality legal work without the unrealistic workloads often associated with high-volume conveyancing.

You’ll benefit from a genuinely capped caseload, structured onboarding and a dedicated post-completion team, giving you the support and autonomy to provide an excellent service to your clients.

The Role

You’ll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:

  • Residential sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Freehold and leasehold transactions
  • New-build and shared ownership matters
  • Investigating title issues and identifying legal risks
  • Completing fraud and compliance checks
  • Managing completions and secure fund transfers
  • Handling Stamp Duty submissions
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • Working alongside the post-completion team on registrations and file closures
  • Supporting junior members of the team when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
