The engagement requires qualified legal domain experts to support human-in-the-loop evaluation of advanced AI systems across complex legal research, statutory interpretation, legal drafting, citation verification, and factuality assessment. Selected experts will establish ground-truth data, create objective evaluation rubrics, assess research trajectories, and identify legal reasoning failure modes.
Competency
Evidence Expected
- Authority hierarchy Can distinguish binding primary authority from persuasive secondary commentary.
- Jurisdictional analysis Understands controlling jurisdiction, federal/state tensions, and applicable national or supranational frameworks.
- Citation verification Can validate whether legal claims are directly supported by cited authority; Bluebook, OSCOLA, or relevant local-standard expertise.
- Rubric authoring Can break complex legal questions into discrete, objective, verifiable evaluation criteria.
- Legal drafting Practical drafting/review experience across agreements, notices, motions, briefs, filings, or equivalent documents.

Qualifications

- Licensed Attorneys, JD/LL.M. graduates, Senior Legal Researchers, or experienced Paralegals.
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant legal practice, research, drafting, or advisory experience.
- Strong legal reasoning, legal research, statutory analysis, citation verification, and document drafting skills.
