This is a full-time hybrid role for a Conveyancer (Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer), primarily based in Sudbury with some flexibility to work from home.

The role involves managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, conducting title investigations and property searches, and advising clients on legal issues related to property transactions.

The Conveyancer will liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, ensuring clear communication and timely progress of files. The role also includes maintaining accurate file records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of conveyancing processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong grounding in Law, with experience in property or conveyancing practice.
  • Demonstrated ability in Legal Consulting, including advising clients on conveyancing and related legal issues.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and reviewing contracts, reports on title, and completion statements.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and build positive client relationships.
  • Experience handling Legal Issues arising in residential property transactions, including risk assessment and problem-solving.
  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent conveyancing qualification and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage a busy caseload independently and within deadlines.
  • Comfort with legal case management systems and standard office software; willingness to adapt to new technologies.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality client service.
