Team Leader - Legal for Lettings (Lincoln)

Legal for Lettings is a rapidly growing law firm specialising in Landlord and Tenant Law. Our mission is to provide market-leading legal services to landlords while fostering a genuinely supportive, down-to-earth and innovative working environment. We focus on quality over volume and are proud to be challenging traditional ways of working in legal services.

We are now looking for a people-focused Team Leader to help us develop and lead one of our key operational teams.

The Opportunity

Based in our Lincoln office, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing a team of legal professionals (including Legal Support Assistants and Paralegals). You will create the conditions for your team to thrive: clear expectations, strong coaching and feedback, and a culture where people feel supported, listened to and able to do their best work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people leader from a regulated environment who wants to:

  • Take real ownership for team performance and culture;
  • Shape how we deliver legal services in a growing, ambitious business;
  • Work closely with senior leadership and contribute to how the department evolves.

Expertise in Landlord and Tenant Law is highly advantageous, but we are equally interested in your track record as a team leader and people manager.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Legal Support Assistants and Paralegals.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with clear goals, regular 1:1s and meaningful feedback.
  • Ensure the team remains motivated, engaged and aligned with our values, People policies and procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
