With a focus on delivering exceptional services to our clients, we foster an environment where our employees can thrive, grow, and make a real impact.

The Employment and Immigration Team:

The Employment & Immigration team at Capital Law is a highly regarded specialist practice, advising a diverse range of clients from growing businesses and charities to major national and international organisations. The Role:

Working closely with lawyers and support colleagues, you will help drive operational excellence, manage workflows, and contribute to an exceptional client experience within one of the firm's busiest and most dynamic practice areas.

Main Duties:

  • Act as a key point of contact within the team, supporting onboarding, inductions and the ongoing development of trainees, junior lawyers and support colleagues.

  • Oversee billing, WIP and debt management processes, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and financial targets are met.
  • Produce and analyse team management information, reporting on key operational and financial metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvements to administrative and operational processes, promoting efficiency and best practice across the team.
  • Support compliance and file management requirements through regular file reviews and process monitoring.
  • Attend management meetings and work closely with Partners, Heads of Team and business services colleagues to support team objectives and projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Legal Administrative team, contributing to colleague development and the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with ad hoc team, operational and people-related initiatives as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
