Role - Lega Tech Business Analyst

Location - London, UK (Hybrid)

Type - Contract (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

Business Discovery & Requirements Definition

  • Conduct workshops, interviews and process walkthroughs with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capture, validate and prioritise business, functional, non-functional and operational requirements.
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Build end-to-end requirements traceability from business objectives through to delivered capabilities.
  • Define acceptance criteria and measures of success.

Future State Design

  • Document current-state ("as-is") business processes, systems, data flows and user journeys.
  • Design future-state ("to-be") operating models and service workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for AI, automation, workflow orchestration and self-service capabilities.
  • Define future user experiences for service intake, triage, advice, case management and knowledge access.
  • Work with business SMEs to redesign processes and eliminate inefficiencies.

Transformation Analysis

  • Assess demand drivers, service volumes, process complexity and value opportunities.
  • Build evidence-based recommendations for service transformation.
  • Support prioritisation of transformation opportunities based on value, risk, complexity and feasibility.
  • Contribute to business case development and benefits modelling.
  • Define KPI frameworks and success measures for transformation outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Facilitate workshops involving Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Assurance, Company Secretariat and Corporate Affairs teams.
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities and drive consensus.
  • Present findings, recommendations and progress updates to programme governance forums and leadership teams.

Delivery Enablement

  • Work closely with architects, product teams, digital delivery teams and vendors.
  • Support the evaluation of technology solutions against business requirements.
  • Ensure solutions align with business needs, regulatory obligations and control requirements.
  • Provide business analysis leadership throughout discovery, design and implementation phases.
  • Support testing, adoption and change activities as required.

Data, Risk & Governance

  • Identify data requirements, integrations and reporting needs.
  • Ensure requirements incorporate compliance, governance and auditability considerations.
  • Support the definition of controls, decision traceability and assurance requirements.
  • Contribute to risk identification and mitigation activities across the programme.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Extensive Business Analysis experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Strong requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrable experience defining target operating models.
  • Experience documenting complex business processes and service journeys.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills up to senior leadership level.
  • Experience working across multiple business domains and functions.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into detailed requirements and actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience developing business cases and benefits frameworks.
