About The Role

Legal Support Technical Administrator

Manchester

Hybrid - 1 day per week office attendance

Permanent - potential start date 2nd or 16th November 2026

We're looking for a Legal Support Technical Administrator to join our Legal Support Team to act as a gateway for all new work and to utilise your technical knowledge and expertise to ensure instructions are correctly identified and prioritised to best support to all legal departments of HF whilst following agreed client escalation processes and liaising with key stakeholders as required. You will also provide file and general administration support to all departments of the firm ensuring all our service level agreements (SLA’s) and management information (MI) deadlines are met.

What will I be doing?

  • Liaising with clients, third parties and courts regarding new instructions via telephone including requesting papers and ascertaining any additional/missing information.
  • Collating information and completing vetting process as required, managing client responses and documenting accurately.
  • Prioritise work according to urgency (i.e. AOS dates, SLA, specific client requests).
  • Liaise with clients/fee earners regarding duplicate files/conflicts of interest.
  • Investigate complex instructions via client/third party liaison.
  • Processing Court Proceedings received via post, email and the DCP.
  • To be an exceptional team player with a positive and professional work ethic.
  • To provide support to Fee Earners as and when required.
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information in compliance with all DPA requirements.
