Job Title: Legionella Remedial Plumber

Location: Bath, Somerset

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued success, our client is recruiting for an experienced Legionella Remedial Plumber in the South West of England. You will be servicing a range of new commercial and local authority premises, providing reactive and pre-planned remedial duties.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, including the ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines. Our client is a privately-owned outfit, who specialise within legionella / water hygiene, who can offer great cross-training and progression. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Remedial Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit
  • Must hold the NVQ Level 1 and 2 as a minimum
  • It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
  • Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Adaptable to company needs
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

  • TMV servicing and replacements
  • Deadleg removals
  • Pipework adjustments and installations (including PVC and copper)
  • POU heater installs
  • Tank refurbishments and replacements
  • Valve installs / replacements
  • Diagnosing faults on site
  • Completing regular service reports
  • Working to agreed deadlines and project scope
