Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Derby, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor to cover sites across the Midlands region. You will be joining a growing name within the Legionella / Compliance, who have a nationwide presence of commercial, local authority and public sector contracts. Candidates must be confident in completing legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems as a minimum, but it would be beneficial to have experience on process systems (i.e. cooling towers).
Our client is offering excellent salaries, in addition to: company vehicle, overtime, pension scheme, annual leave, fuel card and training.
You will be travelling across: Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Leicester, Hinckley, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Coventry, Birmingham, Marston Green, Redditch, Rugby, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Burntwood, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Bromsgrove, Royal Leamington Spa, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Telford, Daventry, Northampton.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within a well-established outfit
- Robust technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274
- Confident in producing technical reports
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
- Highlighting any compliance risks and making appropriate recommendations for rectifying
- Creating schematic drawings and technical reports
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Adhering to set personal targets and deadlines
- Training new risk assessors and providing ongoing support
- Liaising with clients
- Travelling in line with company needs
