Company Description

Role Description

The St Alban's Sports Centre offers something unique in North Yorkshire with an excellent, city-standard gym and a family-friendly 25m swimming pool in the most beautiful, uplifting countryside. It is part of Ampleforth College, the world’s foremost Catholic boarding school, welcoming girls and boys of all faiths aged 11-18. We are looking for part time (8-16 hours per week), qualified RLSS Lifeguards and Leisure Assistants to join our existing team in this well-established local sports centre. They will be required to have been trained in First Aid with a working knowledge of applicable Health & Safety regulations. Successful candidates will enjoy meeting and helping customers either poolside or within the well-equipped gym. They will help with the smooth running of the day-to-day activities of the centre from greeting customers at Reception to lifeguarding.

Hours of work will be between 4pm-9:30pm Monday to Friday and 6:30am-9:30pm Saturday and Sunday.
