Role Description:
Our Leisure Attendants (lifeguards) have an important role to play in the smooth operation of the leisure centre. As a Leisure Attendant, it would be your responsibility to ensure the safety of our customers whilst supervising the swimming pool and its surrounds as a pool lifeguard. You will also be expected to undertake a number of other tasks around the centre such as routine checks, cleaning, and assisting with the preparation of events/activities, including the assembly and dismantling of equipment.

- Ensure the safety of our customers whilst supervising the swimming pool.
- Undertake routine checks, cleaning, and assist with event/activity preparation.
- Interact with customers warmly and welcomingly.
- Represent LeisureSK professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Monitor the number of swimmers in the pool and report any issues to the Duty Manager.
- Comply with the PSOP (Pool Safety Operating Procedure).
- Maintain your NPLQ by attending required training sessions.
- Provide outstanding customer care and report serious issues to the Duty Manager.
- Ensure the health and safety of customers at all times.
- Understand and follow the Centre Emergencies Procedure.
- Check the safety of equipment and report any damage or malfunction.
- Assist in the preparation and operation of events and activities.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out and maintain storage areas.
- Handle lost property according to company procedures.
- Assist in the opening and/or closing of the centre.
- Complete other tasks as requested by the management team.

Salary: £11.04 - £12.90 Per Hour
