Leisure Club Assistant
Carden Park Hotel, Broxton Road, Chester, Cheshire, CH3 9DQ
Role - Leisure Club Assistant
Hours - Part time & Full time available (between 24 and 40 hour contracts available)
Hourly rate - Up to £12.71 per hour
If you have previous experience working within a leisure club or hotel environment, bring an energetic and friendly approach to your work, and have a genuine interest in fitness, we’d love you to join the Team Carden family. You’ll also have excellent customer service skills and enjoy creating a welcoming experience for our guests and members.
Your Day With Team Carden
- Welcome and assist guests and members with enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the busy Leisure Club, including opening and closing duties.
- Assist with new member inductions and provide a warm introduction to the club.
- Complete light cleaning and general housekeeping duties to maintain high standards.
- Carry out routine pool water testing and ensure standards are maintained.
- Support with general reception and administrative duties.
About You
- Friendly, approachable and confident when welcoming guests and members.
- A genuine interest in fitness, health and wellbeing.
- Previous experience in a leisure, hotel or customer-facing environment is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
- Energetic, proactive and happy to get stuck in.
- A team player who enjoys working in a busy environment.
- Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

You will be required to be confident, efficient and an excellent communicator to ensure that our guests needs are met whilst being able to promote Carden Park Hotel’s leisure facilities. We are looking for those who can provide the best first impression and the warmest last impression to our leisure guests, meeting their needs and requirements. Experience of working in a busy leisure environment is desirable, along with having a great attitude, a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to team work. You will be well presented with a warm and confident personality who will enjoy talking to our guests. This is a great opportunity to work in a luxury resort hotel with a fantastic team.
