BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Weekend Leisure Supervisor to join our FM segment of the business and join the team based at the Wallyford Learning Campus.

The Leisure Supervisor is required to assist the Leisure Manager in managing and coordinating all leisure activities within the campus to ensure a cost-effective, client-focused service. Working closely with the Management Team, the Leisure Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the centre.

The Leisure Supervisor will be committed to providing a quality service for clients and customers. Effective person-management and leadership skills are required. Supporting all members of staff through professional working relationships is essential.

Working 18 hours per weekend 8.00am - 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday. Hourly rate £16.70 Per Hour.

Principle Accountabilities:

People

  • Management and development of the FM Leisure team to successfully achieve company, team, and individual goals and objectives to achieve and exceed the service delivery requirements.
  • Create and maintain effective individual and team working relationships with the leisure team, the client, and their representatives.

Operational

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the centre is of the highest standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with legislative and BAM FM requirements.
  • Operate all services and facilities available within the contract specifications to the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Complete regular maintenance and checks on all equipment to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Assist the Leisure Manager to prepare and submit regular performance reports as required.
  • Behave at all times with a high degree of professional and personal integrity.
  • Assist the leisure manager with annual Personal Development Reviews of Leisure Attendant staff.
  • Carry out other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time by BAM FM and client management.

Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with legislative and BAM FM requirements.
  • Ensure safety training and toolbox talks are carried out and recorded on a regularly basis.
  • Assist FM Management to lead and develop business planning, ensuring the FM budgets are managed and controlled in strict accordance with the contract and achieve savings where possible.
  • Carry out other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time by BAM FM and client management.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Experience as a Leisure Supervisor
  • Experience of Health & Safety management
  • Competent knowledge of IT packages
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 (PVG) in relation to this type of work is applicable for children
  • Ability to understand and work to the BAM values
  • Level 2 Personal Trainer qualification or equivalent is required to work in our onsite gym. This is desirable but not essential as BAM will put any successful candidate through this course; it will be mandatory this qualification must be achieved within your 3-month probation period.
