Bio
Lena Aires is a film photographer from the UK. Her work explores femininity, spirituality and the natural world. She tries to capture these archetypal themes through intimate portraiture and self-portraiture, landscape and documentary style photography. All her work is shot on 35mm film. Lena's work has been exhibited in the UK, Paris and Hong Kong and has been published in various print and digital publications.

Longing, Home | View on OpenSea
My first collection, Longing, Home is a collection of 20 film photographs taken in the spaces I am most intimate with on the land where I grew up in North Wales in the UK, places I always find myself revisiting - in nature, in my home and the homes of my family and friends. I long for its intimacy and yearn for some other place at the same time. The collection features self-portraits, landscapes and still life.
