The Role
As a Lender Relationship Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of Zuto’s lending partners, building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to improve performance and strengthen our partnerships. You’ll combine relationship management with commercial thinking and data-led decision making — monitoring performance, identifying opportunities, reducing friction and turning ideas into measurable improvements. This is a highly visible role where you’ll work with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, giving you genuine ownership and the opportunity to influence how Zuto works with its lender panel.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of lenders.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at both operational and senior levels.
- Leading lender performance reviews and managing ongoing engagement.
- Monitoring lender performance metrics and MI to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Using data and commercial insight to identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Building clear cases for change and demonstrating how Zuto and our lenders can capitalise on opportunities.
- Identifying inefficiencies and friction within lender journeys and driving practical improvements.
- Working cross-functionally with teams across Zuto to implement change.
- Providing insight into lender appetite and market developments.
- Supporting the onboarding of new lender partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
