Drive Origination. Own Transactions. Accelerate Your Career.
We're working with a highly respected specialist property lender that is expanding its Development Finance team and seeking an ambitious Lending Director to help drive the next phase of growth.
This is an opportunity to join a well-capitalised lender with a strong reputation in the development finance market, offering genuine autonomy, significant earning potential, and the ability to manage transactions from origination through to redemption. The business is investing in its growth strategy, including the expansion of its direct sales capabilities, creating additional opportunities for Lending Directors to maximise deal flow and build long-term client relationships.
The Role
This is a true end-to-end lending position with a strong focus on business origination. You will leverage your existing developer network and market contacts to source new opportunities, structure transactions, assess risk, and oversee deals throughout their lifecycle.
Working closely with Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders, you will develop, manage, and grow a high-quality development finance portfolio while maintaining strong relationships with borrowers, brokers, and introducers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
