About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Role Description

The Lending Fulfilment Officer - Unsecured Loans role will be responsible for the fulfilment lifecycle of unsecured lending applications, together with back-office activities to support the smooth running of the function. The role will be accountable for delivering a best in class service to our broker partners and customers leading Allica’s commercial success in the Unsecured Loan market.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Deliver post-approval administration to unsecured loans through the fulfilment journey to drawdown, ensuring timely release of documentation and payments to support the bank’s ethos of fast, high-quality service.
  • Relationship building and strong engagement with brokers, direct customers, and all associated parties to the product.
  • Managing a pipeline of cases to ensure adherence to the team’s service level agreements and quality expectations.
  • Responsible for satisfying operational approval conditions pre-drawdown, supporting internal and external stakeholders to drive completions.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records for each case, including clear sanction audit trail, for MI and monitoring.
  • Support wider Operations team with complex queries, liaising with other departments including Distribution, CDD & Underwriting.
  • Maintain and update customer records, including data entry into the Core Banking system.
  • Be a core point of contact for Brokers & customers to assist with questions & queries in relation to the fulfilment journey.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, procedures and guidelines together with all appropriate regulatory and statutory requirements, implementing actions to protect the Bank’s business at all times.
  • Support wider lending teams, which may include cross skilling and working across Asset Finance & Property backed lending where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
