Team: Let’s Do Business Finance
At Let's Do Business Finance, we're passionate about helping start-ups, entrepreneurs, small businesses and social enterprises access the funding they need to succeed. As a responsible lender delivering government-backed and alternative finance solutions, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Lending Manager to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance, lending or banking professional who enjoys working directly with entrepreneurs, assessing business opportunities and making a real difference to local economies.
The Role
As a Lending Manager, you will manage loan applications from enquiry through to decision. You will assess business plans, accounts, cashflow forecasts and supporting information, prepare clear credit recommendations, and ensure lending decisions are made in line with scheme policy, credit requirements and compliance standards. You will also act as a trusted point of contact for applicants, helping them navigate the lending process while maintaining excellent service standards and strong working relationships with referral partners.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
