Lending Operations Manager

London | Hybrid

Salary: £70k + bonus and full benefits package

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join a growing financial services team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and delivery of a busy operational function.

This is a hands-on management role, sitting between senior leadership and the operational teams. You’ll be responsible for translating strategic priorities into effective day-to-day execution, while ensuring teams have the structure, support and resources needed to deliver consistently high standards.

The Role

You’ll lead and develop a team of operational professionals, providing clear direction, coaching and performance management while overseeing workloads, capacity and service delivery.

A key element of the role will be ensuring effective collaboration across different operational areas, maintaining strong controls and identifying and resolving issues before they impact the wider business.

You’ll also play an important role in continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes and embracing technology to improve efficiency and scalability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
