Role Description

The Letting Manager role at Reeds Rains in Romford is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lettings department. The person in this role will manage a portfolio of rental properties, coordinate viewings, handle tenancy applications, and ensure compliance with relevant lettings legislation and company policies. They will maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, provide guidance on rental values, and support the negotiation and completion of tenancy agreements.

  • Resolving queries
  • Overseeing move-ins and move-outs
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service

The Letting Manager will also contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to expand the lettings portfolio and promoting Reeds Rains services.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of lettings and Landlord/Tenant Matters, including tenancy processes and legal responsibilities.
  • Experience working with Estate Agents and practical understanding of the residential property market.
  • Demonstrated Property Management skills, including coordinating maintenance, inspections, and tenancy administration.
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication abilities, with a focus on building positive relationships and resolving issues professionally.
  • Proven experience in Lettings, ideally in a supervisory or management capacity, with the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Competence using property management or CRM systems and standard office software.
  • Relevant industry training or qualifications (e.g., ARLA/Propertymark or similar) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Romford and adapt to changing market and business needs.
