This upmarket and award-winning firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors is looking to recruit a Lettings Administrator to join its thriving lettings team in Barnes. Our client only employs the very best people. This is a place where people want to work, and their culture is both collaborative and business-minded.
You will be responsible for the provision of highly efficient administrative support to the team by undertaking a wide variety of tasks including invoicing, marketing administration, call handling, document preparation, and maintaining accurate file systems.
To be considered for this lettings administrator role, you will have proven experience within a property administration, hold excellence in terms of maintaining confidentiality, have a professional manner, and excellent customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity for an experienced lettings administrator looking to utilize and expand their skills within the property sector and contribute to the team’s success.

Responsibilities
- Answering the phone and directing calls as required
- Dealing directly with clients/applicants looking to let or rent and answering any enquiries
- Typing and organizing reports where appropriate
- Organizing the marketing of the properties including arranging photographs and floor plans and EPCs, creating brochures, window cards, and organizing advertising
- Arranging canvassing
- Collating statistics
- Progressing tenancy paperwork
- Carrying out the occasional viewing for lettings when required
- Organizing contractors to attend to maintenance issues and informing landlords of costs or quotes where applicable.
- A large proportion of the day will be supporting property management with general tasks
- Sending out utility letters and dealing with check-ins/check-outs
- Organizing service charges for block management
- Adding invoices to Reapit

Skills & knowledge
- Experience within lettings administration
- Excellent customer service skills
- IT literate – experience using Reapit would be advantageous
- Ability to learn, operate, and train within the office on specialist systems
- Time management skills
- Full UK driving licence and own car
Salary
The salary for this role will be £30,000. Our client offers a highly competitive rewards package including group pension, health cash plans, flexible benefits, referral schemes, and generous annual leave (with the option to purchase additional annual leave). They are also supportive of funding ARLA training and career progression.
Working hours
Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm.
