Rentlife Ltd is looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Lettings Assistant to support our busy lettings team.
You will play an important role in delivering a smooth and professional experience for landlords, tenants and prospective tenants, while helping us maintain Rentlife’s reputation for exceptional service.
This varied role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication and close attention to detail. You will help uphold our service standards, maintain accurate compliance records and support the efficient day-to-day operation of the lettings department.
Key Responsibilities
- Applicant management – Respond to enquiries, register applicants, arrange viewings and maintain accurate records within our CRM system.
- Property marketing – Assist with preparing property listings, updating online portals, arranging photography and ensuring marketing details are accurate and appealing.
- Viewing coordination – Schedule and confirm appointments, obtain feedback following viewings and support the lettings team with diary management.
- Tenant onboarding – Prepare tenancy documentation, progress references, check compliance documents and help coordinate the move-in process.
- Landlord communication – Provide regular updates, gather required information and ensure landlords receive prompt and professional responses.
- Compliance administration – Help maintain accurate records for safety certificates, property checks and other legal or regulatory documentation.
- General office support – Answer telephone calls, manage emails, welcome visitors and assist the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Skills And Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous customer service experience, ideally within property, hospitality, retail or another fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once
- A confident, friendly and professional communication style
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other digital platforms
- The ability to remain calm and organised while working under pressure
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- A full UK driving licence, which is preferred but not essential
