Job Title: Lettings Client Accountant (FTC - 6 months)

Salary: Basic salary from £34,000+
Location: Vox Studios SE11 5JH

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join our team in Vauxhall. The role involves managing the accounts receivable function for the business. Intermittently, the successful candidate will also assist with internal data audits, data cleansing and validation, sense checking, setting up new tenancy files, and various financial reporting.

Your Responsibilities as a Client Accountant:

As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for accounts receivable, being the first point of contact for funds being received into the client account. This includes liaising with stakeholders and tenants regarding incoming funds. Additionally, there will be ongoing project work involving data cleansing and essential accounts related sense checking, internal audits, and data entry. You will also perform any ad hoc duties as instructed by the line manager.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Having worked as a client accountant within an estate agency, you possess a solid understanding of the industry and the specific responsibilities of this position.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
  • You have a strong customer-centric approach, prioritizing client needs and satisfaction.
  • You are proactive and take initiative to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Prior use of Veco software would be advantageous.
