Wilson Estate Agents | Bolsover, Derbyshire

Full Time | Permanent

We’re looking for a confident, organised and people-focused Lettings Consultant to join our growing team at Wilson Estate Agents.

Established in 1946, Wilson is an independent, multi-award-winning estate agency with deep roots across Bolsover, Chesterfield and North Derbyshire. While we’re incredibly proud of our history, we’re even more excited about where the business is going next.

This is a varied, fast-paced role at the heart of our lettings department, working closely with landlords, tenants, contractors and the wider Wilson team.

The Role

As a Lettings Consultant, you’ll help manage the day-to-day lettings journey and ensure our landlords and tenants receive the high level of service we expect at Wilson.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling enquiries from landlords, tenants and prospective tenants
  • Registering and qualifying applicants and matching them to suitable properties
  • Arranging and carrying out property viewings
  • Managing applications, referencing and tenancy progression
  • Preparing and coordinating tenancy documentation
  • Liaising with landlords and tenants throughout the move-in process
  • Supporting the ongoing management of our property portfolio
  • Coordinating maintenance issues and communicating with contractors
  • Helping ensure properties and tenancies remain compliant
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Keeping our CRM and property management systems accurate and up to date
  • Working alongside the wider lettings team to provide a proactive, professional service

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
