We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join our busy Brighton team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Lettings Negotiator, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for landlords and tenants while maximising business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Using your knowledge of the local property market to successfully facilitate lettings
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with landlords, tenants, and professional contacts
  • Negotiating rental terms to achieve successful outcomes for clients
  • Handling sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant legislation
  • Keeping up to date with changing market conditions and adapting your approach accordingly
  • Working closely with internal teams to provide a seamless customer journey
  • Developing and maintaining a strong network of local contacts
  • Managing your time effectively and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
  • Taking a proactive, resourceful approach to solving problems and overcoming challenges
  • Consistently maintaining high professional and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in people who are driven to succeed and who genuinely enjoy working with people.

You’ll ideally have:

  • A strong understanding of the local lettings market
  • Knowledge of UK lettings legislation and regulations
  • UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • A driven, ambitious, and target-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong networking and business development abilities
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • The flexibility to respond positively to changing market conditions and customer needs
