Role Description
The Lettings Negotiator is a full-time, on-site role based in Halifax, responsible for supporting all aspects of the lettings process. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Handling tenant enquiries
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Providing clear information on available properties
- Negotiating tenancy terms between landlords and prospective tenants
- Preparing and processing tenancy agreements
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained in line with company procedures
- Assisting with property marketing
- Updating listings
- Following up leads
- Delivering professional customer service to both landlords and tenants

Collaboration with colleagues in the branch to meet lettings targets and uphold compliance with relevant regulations is an important part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and colleagues.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written), including confident telephone manner and clear, professional email correspondence.
- Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage offers, discuss terms, and support successful tenancy agreements.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple properties, viewings, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Competence with basic IT systems and property management or CRM software; accuracy in data entry and document handling.
- Knowledge of or interest in the residential lettings market and relevant regulations; prior experience in estate agency or lettings is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Halifax, use initiative, and contribute positively within a team-oriented environment.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial for attending viewings and visiting properties.
