Now, we are looking for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant Level 1 to play a vital role in supporting this vision at Laceyfields Academy.

About The Role

The ideal candidate will provide dedicated personal care and wellbeing support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring their safety, comfort and dignity throughout the school day. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with personal hygiene
  • Assisting with mobility, medical and physical needs
  • Providing emotional regulation
  • Enabling pupils to access learning and daily routines

The role requires close collaboration with teaching staff, SEN teams and external professionals, and a strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and promoting pupils’ independence.

Who We’re Looking For

Laceyfields Academy is seeking a caring and committed Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. The role includes:

  • Providing personal care
  • Supporting physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping pupils access learning safely and with dignity

Working closely with teaching and SEN staff, the Level 1 Teaching Assistant will play a key role in promoting independence, inclusion and safeguarding within a supportive school environment.
