As a Domiciliary Carer at New Living

You will play a crucial role in providing personalised, compassionate care and support to our clients in their own homes. You will assist individuals with a wide range of daily living activities, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Role-Specific Duties (Delivering Direct Care)

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene routines, including washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming
• Administering or prompting medication safely and accurately
• Supporting clients with safe moving and handling, transfers, and mobility
• Planning and preparing nutritious and appealing meals
• Assisting with general tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment
• Providing a friendly, empathetic presence and emotional support
• Providing targeted support for clients with specific conditions

Training course

Hours: 37 hours per week. Shifts to be confirmed. 37 hours a week

Apply methods of digital working and communication and new care technologies to support improvements in own work setting. Record, use feedback and supervision to improve own practice to identify and support the development of individual goals and career opportunities.
