Lotus Home Care are looking for caring and reliable people to support clients in their own homes. This is a full-time paid role with training included, giving you the chance to gain a recognised Level 2 qualification while building a rewarding career in care.
Wage
£15,600 to £24,784.50, depending on your age

7 days a week, rota to be discussed with manager. 37 hours 30 minutes a week

What You'll Do at Work
As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised)
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Record, monitor, and report on health and well-being
- Support individuals with complex needs such as dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals
- Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed)
- Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship

Training Schedule
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group both remotely and from one of their campuses or onsite at work, giving you the training and support you need to become a well-rounded and successful Health & Social Care Professional.
The Apprentice Standard you will be studying is Adult Care Worker Level 2
Ongoing training with Lotus home care including Oliver McGowan Tier 2
Desirable Qualifications
- GCSE in: Maths & English (grade A*-C/9-4)
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other Requirements
- Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
- This is a successful business with a fantastic reputation that works to a tight schedule. They are looking for someone who can get there in a morning punctually (think about the location of the business and transport links), listen/learn and use their own initiative to quickly become a valued and productive team member.
- Due to insurance purposes, we cannot consider candidates under 18.
- Successful candidates will need a full DBS check.
