LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT (Ref: SBMAT438)

Fixed Term to 31/08/2027 in the first instance

Term Time Only

Grade 3 / Spine Point (5-6)

Salary £26,428 - £26,846 (FTE)

Actual Salary £11,980 - £12,170

19.5 hours per week/ 44.85 weeks paid

Wednesday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

REQUIRED TO START: January 2027 (or as soon as possible)

Location: St Bartholomew’s CE Primary School (WV4 5LG)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a level 2 teaching assistant who is keen to support learning of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Early Years and KS1 in this popular, over-subscribed Church school.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate practitioner with:

  • proven successful experience of supporting children’s learning in EYFS/Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • experience of working with or passion for working with children with SEND
  • Proven experience of impacting on progress
  • A commitment to supporting highly inclusive practice
  • the ability to support, lead and inspire children and peers by example
  • high expectations of children and a commitment to raising standards
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • commitment to the church ethos of the MAT
