Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Level 2 Technician role based in Edinburgh. The Level 2 Technician will carry out pest inspections, identify infestations, and implement appropriate treatment plans in line with company procedures and safety standards. Daily tasks include:

The role involves completing service reports, advising clients on prevention measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and health and safety requirements. The technician will work closely with the wider operations team, respond to scheduled and urgent service calls, and maintain equipment and vehicles to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Practical pest control knowledge and experience, including inspecting properties, identifying pest species, and selecting suitable treatment methods.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices, safe handling of chemicals, and adherence to regulatory and environmental guidelines.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain findings, advise on preventive measures, and build professional client relationships.
- Good record-keeping and basic IT skills for completing digital service reports, maintaining logs, and following scheduling systems.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and site conditions.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Edinburgh area and, when required, across mainland Scotland.
- Relevant industry qualification or certification in pest control (e.g., BPCA / RSPH or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform field work, including climbing ladders, accessing confined spaces, and working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Previous experience in facilities management, environmental services, or a related technical field is an advantage.
