Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Little Houghton, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Pay: £27,164.80 - £27,476.80 per Annum. based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

About Our Nursery
In the picturesque village of Little Houghton in Northamptonshire, Little Houghton Day Nursery offers a nurturing and enriching environment for your child’s early education. Situated in a charming rural setting, our nursery provides children with a variety of learning opportunities that allow them to explore their interests and develop their unique talents.
At our nursery we have 3 rooms, baby room which is 0-2 years, toddler room which is 2-3 years, Preschool room which is 3-5 years. Little Houghton Day Nursery is just to the south of Northampton, off the A428 (Bedford to Northampton Road), next to the local church St Mary The Virgin. The nursery is only a short drive away from other local villages as well as a bus route called the village hopper which goes to all surrounding villages and to Northampton Bus Station. Parking is available outside the nursery.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
