Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0-5. Completing a variety of day-to-day childcare tasks to ensure that children’s needs, welfare and education are catered for. Also, being able to liaise with external customers, parents, and to provide a high level of service for the childcare setting.
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Creating a range of activities for children, both indoor and outdoor activities
- Aiding in feeding the children
- Tidying up the nursery after the children
- Teaching children the EYFS framework
Requirements
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (grade 4/C L2)
- Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Application Process
- Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 3- Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator
- Your apprenticeship will last for 14 months
- You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery
- Apprentices must successfully evidence a first aid qualification approved by EYFS
- Training provider: SWIFT ACI
- Training course: Early years educator (level 3)
