At Nurtured Childcare, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our Skelmanthorpe nursery team. If you’re someone who values creativity, emotional intelligence, and creating meaningful experiences for children, we’d love to hear from you!

Level 3 Early Years Educator

📍 Location: Skelmanthorpe

đŸ’· Salary: ÂŁ27,997 per year

🕘 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (all year round – not term time)

The Role

As one of our Level 3 Early Years Educators, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality care, education, and experiences that support children’s development and wellbeing.

You’ll create engaging learning opportunities, build strong relationships with children and families, and help ensure every child feels included, confident, and supported.

You’ll Have The Opportunity To

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support children across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Build nurturing relationships with children and families through strong communication and emotional intelligence.
  • Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of every child, ensuring inclusive practice.
  • Bring creativity and new ideas into everyday learning experiences.
  • Support children’s curiosity, confidence, and development through play-based learning.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating nursery environment.
  • Promote sustainability and help children understand the importance of caring for the world around them.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings passion, creativity, and a commitment to providing exceptional early years care.

Essential

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children’s individual needs.
  • A passion for creating engaging learning experiences through play.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work full-time hours and be adaptable with start and finish times.

Desirable

  • Experience working within an early years setting.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Interest in sustainability and incorporating eco-friendly practices into learning.
