This will be a 14-month apprenticeship role at a Nursery in Banstead.
Wage:
£12,480 to £19,827.60, depending on your age. National Minimum Wage.
Hours:
30 hours a week.
Start date:
Friday 2 October 2026.
Duration:
1 year 2 months.

What you'll do at work:
- Be a reliable member of the team, working cooperatively and with flexibility.
- Develop positive relationships with parents/ guardians and other staff.
- Supervise the children and ensure their safety at all times.
- Ensure quality interaction with the children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes.
- Assist with planning a programme of activities suitable for the age range of the children in your care.
- Assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive nursery environment.

Training provider:
NORTH EAST SURREY COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (NESCOT).
Training course:
Early years educator (level 3).
What you'll learn:
- Course contents include safeguarding, health and safety, risk assessment, communication, professional relationships, key person role, attachment theory, personal care, SEND and EAL support, interpersonal communication, identity and culture, emotions and behaviour, environment assessment, curriculum planning, reflection.
Training schedule:
The candidate will be working at the nursery 4 days a week and will attend Nescot College every other Friday to study for the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
