What You'll Do at Work

  • Be a reliable member of the team, working co-operatively and with flexibility
  • Develop positive relationships with parents/guardians and other staff
  • Supervise the children and ensure their safety at all times
  • Ensure quality interaction with the children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes
  • Assist with planning a programme of activities, suitable for the age range of the children in your care
  • Assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive nursery environment

Training Schedule

  • The candidate will be working at the nursery 4 days a week.
  • The candidate will attend Nescot College every other Friday to study for the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
  • Training will include a paediatric first aid qualification.

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 2 Early Years Childcare in: Early Years (grade Pass)
