Level 3 Early Years Practitioner - Southend-on-Sea

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Position: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £25,914-£28,871 FTE


Are you a passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for your next permanent opportunity? I am currently recruiting for a fantastic private school in Southend-on-Sea who are looking to welcome a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to their team as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care, support and education to children within the Early Years setting
  • Plan and support fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families
  • Support children's social, emotional, physical and educational development
  • Act as a key person for children, ensuring their individual needs and interests are understood
  • Observe, assess and record children's development and progress
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team
  • Promote independence, confidence, curiosity and a love of learning
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to the overall wellbeing of every child

The Ideal Candidate

The school are looking for someone who is:

  • Level 3 qualified in Early Years/Childcare - essential
  • Experienced working within an Early Years or nursery environment
  • Passionate about providing excellent care and education
  • Warm, caring and nurturing in their approach
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Confident supporting children's development through play
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, organised and committed to their role
