Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Location: Canada Water, South East London

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

The Canada Water setting is entering an exciting phase of growth, presenting fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional to become part of a supportive team committed to achieving the highest standards of care and education.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to provide outstanding learning experiences for children from infancy through to preschool age. You will play a key role in creating a warm, stimulating environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging learning opportunities that support children's development across all areas of the EYFS
  • Create exciting play-based experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence
  • Act as a designated Key Person, building strong partnerships with children and their families
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using this information to inform next steps in learning
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and personal development
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive nursery environment
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are adhered to at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance outcomes for all children
  • Contribute to planning activities that celebrate diversity, language development, and cultural awareness

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young children's learning and development
  • A positive attitude, strong team ethic, and commitment to continuous professional development
