The Role

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 EUC Engineer to provide support within a large scale enterprise transformation and device migration programme, within a highly regulated pharmaceutical GMP environment. The role will focus on ensuring business critical applications remain stable, supported, compliant, and fully operational throughout migration and deployment activities.

The successful candidate will act as a technical escalation point for complex application-related issues, working closely with infrastructure, EUC, security, deployment, and project teams to support application compatibility, deployment readiness, and operational continuity.

Day-to-day At Ekco

  • Provide Level 3 technical support for enterprise devices and applications across a complex IT environment
  • Develop technical solutions across the EUC landscape
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues as required by the programme
  • Support application readiness activities associated with device migration and workplace transformation projects
  • Investigate application compatibility issues across Windows endpoint environments
  • Coordinate application testing, validation, and user acceptance activities
  • Support software deployment, packaging, and release management processes
  • Work closely with EUC, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues
  • Analyse application logs, system behaviour, and performance issues to identify root causes
  • Support incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL processes
  • Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles
  • Assist with application lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning activities
  • Support deployment scheduling and migration cutover activities where required
  • Engage with third-party vendors and application owners to coordinate onboarding activities
  • Ensure applications comply with organisational security and operational standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Level 3 EUC devices and application support within enterprise environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise applications
  • Experience working within large-scale IT migration or transformation programmes
  • Understanding of application deployment and packaging processes
  • Experience with technologies such as:
    • Microsoft Windows 10/11
    • Active Directory
    • SCCM
    • Citrix or VDI environments
    • Application packaging
    • Kiosk Mode and other techniques as required
  • Experience working within ITIL-based support environments
  • Experience working within highly regulated or controlled enterprise environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
  • Demonstrate proficiency in planning and coordination, with a high level of organisational capability
  • Desirable: Experience in a GMP IT/OT environment
