Your Early Years experience could be the perfect foundation for a move into primary education.
Prebook Recruitment is recruiting a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner for a supportive primary school in Southall, with an immediate start available.
You'll work within the school's Early Years provision, helping young children develop the communication, confidence and early learning skills they need as they begin their education.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team, supporting children through a combination of structured activities, learning through play and everyday routines.
Your Role Will Include
- Supporting children individually and in small groups.
- Encouraging language and communication development.
- Helping with early phonics, literacy and numeracy.
- Creating opportunities for learning through play.
- Supporting children's social and emotional development.
- Encouraging positive friendships and interaction.
- Helping children develop independence.
- Providing additional support for children with SEND where required.
- Observing progress and feeding back to teaching staff.
- Preparing resources and learning activities.
- Supporting both indoor and outdoor learning.

What You'll Need
You'll need a recognised Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification and experience working with young children.
You'll Also Need To Be
- Confident supporting children within the EYFS age range.
- Familiar with early child development and the EYFS.
- Patient, positive and enthusiastic.
- Comfortable working as part of a classroom team.
- Able to build warm, professional relationships with children.
- Committed to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.

An Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one, will be required.
