Our client, a highly respected early years setting in Hammersmith, Greater London, is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-time Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurturing individual who is committed to providing exceptional care and education to young children.
As a Part-time Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. Working closely with the wider nursery team, you will contribute to the creation of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters children's curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
Your Key Duties And Responsibilities Will Include
- Planning and implementing a diverse range of activities, such as arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and physical play, that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor your approach and support individual learning needs
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the completion of children's developmental journals
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care, adhering to strict safeguarding protocols and procedures
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development and responding to any queries or concerns
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field, such as a CACHE Diploma or NVQ in Childcare and Education
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Nursery Practitioner in an early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- A creative and adaptable approach to planning and delivering engaging learning experiences
- A commitment to promoting inclusive practice and supporting children's individual needs
- A genuine passion for early years education and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young children

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £108 - £115 per day, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to work 3-4 days per week, providing you with a flexible work-life balance.
