Contract: Temporary, possible option of temp to perm
Full time/Part time: Full time, 8am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: From £113.94 per day
Start Date: 7th September 2026
Expected end date: 23rd July 2027
Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children in their earliest years of education?
We are currently partnering with a friendly and supportive primary school in Openshaw that is seeking a dedicated Level 3 SEND EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping children develop the confidence, skills, and curiosity needed for a successful start to school life.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality Early Years learning experiences.
- Work with individuals and small groups to promote learning and development.
- Encourage children's communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organised learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and personal development.
- Assist with observations and assessments in line with EYFS expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (preferred).
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
- A patient, caring, and positive approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for education.
