Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Level 3 Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester role based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The role involves carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards, as well as conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing faults, completing mechanical and electrical repairs, performing safety checks, and ensuring accurate documentation of all work undertaken. The technician will collaborate closely with service advisors and other workshop associates to ensure timely completion of jobs and high levels of guest satisfaction. Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and upholding Cambria’s standards of quality, integrity, and guest care are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

- Relevant technical skills, including Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent) and strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance capabilities.
- MOT testing skills, including a current DVSA-approved MOT Tester license and thorough understanding of MOT testing procedures and regulations.
- Workshop operation skills, such as safe use of tools and equipment, adherence to health and safety standards, and efficient time and job management.
- Customer-focused skills, including clear communication, ability to explain technical issues in accessible terms, and commitment to delivering excellent guest service.
- Professional attributes, such as reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and manufacturer training.
- Beneficial qualifications include experience with multiple vehicle brands, familiarity with dealer management systems, and a valid UK driving license.
